Upcoming Services

This Sunday October 4th we will be observing the Lord's Supper. I am excited about sharing in this opportunity with the church for the first time since becoming pastor. We are also looking forward to the dedication of Andrew Tomblin.

Awana has kicked off for the new year and we are looking forward to this ministry impacting the lives of the children of our church and community.

On October the 18th we will be starting a Sunday Night Bible Study. Bible Study will meet the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month. Our first study series will be on "Leaving a Legacy of Faith". This Study will focus on Hebrews Chapter 11.

If their is anything I can do for you please let me know,

Pastor Matt

Awana Fall Festival

What a wonderful afternoon we had yesterday with the Fall Festival. It was truly a great event with visitors and members. A special thanks goes out to the Baptist Men for cooking the hotdogs. The youth did an excellent job in helping with the activities. And the Children and youth Committee did a wonderful job in planning the day and promoting our upcoming Awana program.
Sunday was a great day of worship and fellowship.

Church Picnic

Clear your schedule this Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and join us at Riverside for our Church picnic. We will have games, activities, singing, and of course great food. We are looking forward to a wonderful time of fellowship with our church family, guests, and the community.

Remember also that Sunday is our Sunday School emphasis with breakfast at 9:00 a.m. Opening assembly at 9:45 and Sunday School at 10:00. Now would be an excellent time to start back to Sunday School. In the 11:00 a.m. worship hour we will be looking at "Encounters with Christ" This Sunday we will be looking through the eyes of Zacchaeus as he saw Christ. Zacchaeus is not simply a children's Bible Story character but a life who was changed when he encountered Christ.

See you Saturday and Sunday,

Pastor Matt
